Mark started training in martial arts in
1976 under Sensei John Sartori. He received his first junior black belt
in 1980. Since that time he has trained under several prominant
teachers. He currently holds the rank of
6th in Shorin Ryu Matsubana
Kobayashi Karate Do under the auspices of the Okinawan Karate
Federation. One of the highlights of his martial arts career was
acheiving a 4th place finish at the 2001 Okinawa Rengokai World Karate
Kobudo Championships.
From 1986 to 1993, Mark coached the Kokoro
Karate Team, and Okinawa Open Hand Hard StyleDemo teams for several
tournaments in the Ontario and Quebec area. He has operated a
number of martial arts schools during that time. He holds a
Bachelor Business Management Degree and is currently the Supply Chain
Director for a large North American manufacturing company. In his
spare time, Mark enjoys NHRA Drag Racing, muscle car restoration, War
Medal collecting and Genealogy. He is also a small business consultant. |
